Protecting Aged Care Residents’ Savings – Issues Paper
On 12 April 2010 the Government announced it would increase protections for the more than $9 billion of residents’ life savings held in aged care accommodation bonds. The announcement was made as part of the More Support for Older Australians in the National Health and Hospitals Network. This Issues Paper raises for discussion the implementation of the announced measures, and provides information on the consultation process and how you can have your say.
