What you need to do
Whether you need care to stay in your own home, or you need the level of care provided by an aged care home, your first step is to contact 1800 200 422 during business hours or, for emergency respite support outside standard business hours, call 1800 059 059. If you have more complex needs or may want to move into an aged care home, then your local Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT or ACAS in Victoria) (more information) can help.
