Often older people prefer to stay at home rather than go into an aged care home. What services are available?
Sometimes it can be hard to know or to explain what services you really need. Some people feel very strongly that everything should be kept in the family and outside help is not necessary. Others find it hard to admit that they can’t do everything, all the time, for the person they care for. There are many services available to help you, so don’t feel a sense of guilt or hesitant about contacting service providers.Read more: About what services are available?
