As you grow older, there are many things that you can do to help you remain healthy and continue to enjoy life.

Look after yourself and you’ll be able to prevent many illnesses associated with ageing and increase the quality of your life. For example, be physically active, eat healthy foods, maintain a good weight, and don’t smoke. But there are many schemes that can greatly reduce your risk of getting sick and help you maintain maximum health and well-being in later years. There is everything from flu vaccinations; bowel, breast and cervical cancer screenings; as well as a general check up with your doctor or dentist.
