Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people

If you live in a rural or remote area and you’re from an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background, you’re now less likely to have to move to a distant town or city for aged care services.

Culturally and linguistically diverse people

Many agencies now have services for people from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds and offer culturally sensitive care, catering to specific diets, activities, languages or spiritual needs.
