Common question
| Question: | What happens if my doctor does not agree with the ACAT assessment? |
| Answer: | Your doctor should talk to you in the first instance to see what you think. Then you and your doctor should talk to the ACAT about the areas the doctor disagrees with. This should resolve the problem, but if not and you disagree with the ACAT recommendation, you can appeal the decision. The ACAT will let you know how to do this.
