Common question
| Question: | Mum is a war widow. She can't get on buses any more, and I live 600 kms away. How is she going to get to her medical appointments? |
| Answer: | As she is a war widow, her doctor can give her vouchers for taxis to attend medical appointments. Some Home and Community (HACC) services can also provide transport to take people to appointments. Contact HACC services to find out whether this is available in her area.
