Common question
| Question: | The home has switched to pre-packaged meals and mum complains that she never gets any fresh vegetables or salad any more. Can they do this? |
| Answer: | Homes must provide a variety of meals, including fruit and fruit juices, that adequately meet the nutritional, medical and cultural needs of the residents. Your mum may wish to raise this matter at a 'resident meeting' or discuss it with the Care Manager. Read more: About care and services you can expect Read more: About accreditation |
