Common question
| Question: | Who can I speak with to get more information about dementia? |
| Answer: | You can call the National Dementia Helpline 1800 100 500, which provides dementia information, education, support groups and counselling, or perhaps the local Alzheimer’s Australia Association in your state or territory. If you have concerns about your own memory, or those of a friend or another family member, the first thing is to find out the cause. Speak to your doctor who can provide advice about how to obtain an accurate assessment.
