Common question
| Question: | Dad is paying for extra services and that was OK to start with, but now we can't afford it. What can we do? |
| Answer: | He will need to apply for a place that does not have extra service status. This will mean that he will have to move to another part of the home, or to another home if the whole of the home he is in has extra service status. He will need another ACAT assessment to ensure that he moves to an appropriate level of care.
