Common question

Question: My doctor has recommended that I need a pressure-relieving air mattress. Does the home have to provide this or do I have to pay for it?
Answer: The home is required to provide pressure-relieving air or water mattresses for high care residents (at no additional cost to the resident) if this is an assessed care need.
