Common question

Question: Can I have someone with me while I'm having my ACAT assessment?
Answer: Yes, you can have whoever would make you feel most comfortable. You may wish to have a carer, a close friend or a family member to support you. If it would be helpful, you can have an interpreter (which the ACAT can arrange if you let them know beforehand) or an independent advocate.
